‘Euphoria’ Star Dominic Fike On Hunter Schafer Romance: ‘We Developed An Attraction’

Dominic Fike has opened up about his romantic relationship with his “Euphoria” co-star Hunter Schafer.

In an interview with GQ for the men’s magazine’s June/July 2022 issue, the 26-year-old shared that working on the set of the show helped accelerate their relationship.

“In those moments, your relationship is accelerated because you’re so vulnerable with someone, immediately. Which usually takes a long time,” the “3 Nights” singer was quoted as saying by Page Six.

Schafer has played Jules since the first season of “Euphoria” debuted in 2019. Fike joined the show in Season 2 as Elliot, the mysterious guy who got entangled in Rue (Zendaya) and Jules’ relationship.

Fike said that after developing an attraction on the set, things just sped up because they got to know each other fast while working together.

“Some people fall in love, like, f—king months after they meet, or years after. We developed an attraction — it sped it up so fast. We just really got to know each other so quickly.”

The outlet noted that Fike is “very much in love” with his 23-year-old girlfriend, and he did not deny it. He even admitted to visiting the Prada store in Soho eight times in four days just to see Schafer’s face on the ads in the windows.

Fike was also not shy to admit that he was doing everything to visit Schafer as often as possible amid his busy schedule.

The pair first sparked dating rumors in January after being photographed holding hands at The Nice Guy in West Hollywood. Fike went on to confirm their relationship by sharing a sweet kissing snap on his Instagram Story in February, as per Us Weekly.

One month later, Fike and Schafer turned heads when they showed up at the Vanity Fair Oscars party in Los Angeles together.

Meanwhile, Schafer previously shared that she was worried about the reaction of the fans when Fike’s character got introduced since many were rooting for Jules and Rue to be together.

“I think I was in a similar boat to [Zendaya] when I first heard about this Elliot boy. But, you know, as we saw more of what it brought into the story and the script, it became a more interesting and exciting prospect, and once Dom came on board, he made it a lot of fun,” she told Variety earlier this year.
