Eva Mendes Meets Ryan Gosling's Mom

Are Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling taking their relationship to the next level? The rumors continue to swirl after the stunning actress was spotted on a movie date with Gosling and his mom.

After Gosling spent some time with mom Donna on Sunday, the mother and son met with Mendes at an AMC theater in uptown Manhattan, a source told People.

They all hung out and went to the movies together, the source said. Ryan and Eva seemed very happy.

The two first stepped out together in September while shooting The Place Beyond the Pines. Photographs obtained by Us Weekly show the co-stars holding hands and kissing on a Disneyland trip in California.

Witnesses later spotted Gosling, 31, and Mendes, 37, getting affectionate while leaving the Bowery Hotel in Manhattan on New Year's Eve.

While they waited for a cab outside the hotel, they kept kissing, the witness told People. They both looked very happy.

The A-list celebs also got cozy together in bed for a hilarious episode in Funny or Die's Drunk History series, Drunk History Christmas. Gosling and Mendes played husband and wife, reenacting the story of Santa Clause told by a guy who clearly had too much egg nogg.

Gosling's mother has always been a big part of his life. The Drive actor told The Independent she raised him on her own as a single parent.

I think like a girl, Gosling told the paper in October. I was literally raised by my mother and my sister. And I just feel like I wouldn't know how to think any other way ... My sister was my best friend and my hero growing up. Because I was home-schooled I didn't have a lot of friends and I did ballet, which was always just girls. All of that had an effect on my brain.
