EVO 2015 Lineup Revealed, Will Include Nine Fighting Games

E-sports tournament EVO, or the Evolution Championship Series, will take place at the Bally’s/Paris Las Vegas Casino this year from July 17-19. On Tuesday, the tournament’s organizer, Joey “Mr. Wizard” Cuellar announced the games involved in the event on streaming platform Twitch.

Players will compete in the following games:

Ultra Street Fighter 4

Marvel vs. Capcom 3

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U

Guilty Gear Xrd

Killer Instinct

Mortal Kombat X

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax

Super Smash Bros. Melee

Tekken 7

There are currently nine fighting titles that will be featured at EVO 2015, and Cuellar added that they probably won’t be adding any more.

Last year’s event took place from July 11-13 at the Westgage Las Vegas Resort and Casino. It included “Marvel vs. Capcom 3,” “Ultra Street Fighter IV,” “Injustice: Gods Among us,” “Killer Instinct,” “The King of Fighters XIII” and more.

Can't be mad at that #EVO2015 lineup. Arcade only ver. of Tekken 7 is kinda odd, but meh, more power to Harada & Tekken Team.
