Ex-WWE Champion On Dethroning Roman Reigns: 'Only I Stand A Chance Against Tribal Chief'
KEY POINTS
- Seth Rollins recently attacked Riddle on RAW
- Riddle failed to qualify for the Money in the Bank ladder fight
- Reigns defeated Riddle on SmackDown last week
WWE superstar Seth Rollins claims he is the only wrestler who can take down WWE and Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
Rollins explained that his recent actions on RAW, where he assaulted RK-Bro member Riddle, were only to send a message that no one stands a chance against The Head of the Table except him.
"Truth be told, I was just going out there to make a mission statement to declare that the entire world doesn't stand a chance against Roman Reigns, and I do. Riddle was collateral damage, but like I said he had it coming to him just like everybody else in this Money in the Bank match," Rollins said on "RAW Talk," reported Sportskeeda.
The Visionary went on to add that it's his "destiny" to win the Money in the Bank contract and cash it on Undisputed Champion Reigns, just like he did at WrestleMania 31.
"Do you remember the first time I cashed in the Money in the Bank contract? The heist of the century baby. No one can hang with me, it is my destiny to reclaim that contract and cash in on Roman Reigns. Roman's been dodging, been ducking, been running, been hiding but he doesn't stand a chance when I get that contract. You can't run from me because I am The Visionary, Revolutionary, and Seth Freakin' Rollins baby," the two-time WWE Champion added.
Before taking on Nigerian wrestler Omos on RAW earlier this week, Riddle showed a promo in the ring, recollecting his loss to Reigns on SmackDown last week. The former U.S. Champion then claimed that although he didn't clinch the world titles, he could get another opportunity to dethrone The Head of the Table by winning the Money in the Bank contract.
Unfortunately, he lost the qualifier fight to Omos, who ended up qualifying for the upcoming eight-man Money in the Bank ladder match. To win the bout, one has to climb the ladder to retrieve a briefcase containing a contract that grants the winner a world title opportunity anywhere, anytime.
Soon after Riddle's loss to Omos, the "Original Bro" was attacked by Rollins in the ring using a big-time curb stomp, according to Clutch Points.
