Exclusive ‘When Calls The Heart’ Season 6 Premiere Clip: Abigail, Bill Argue

Hearties, Season 6 of Hallmark Channel’s “When Calls the Heart” is only a few days away!

To get you even more hyped up for episode 1 on Sunday, International Business Times has an exclusive clip from the premiere. Picking up shortly after the 2018 Christmas special, this weekend’s broadcast will see Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) return to teaching after giving birth to baby Jack, who was named after Elizabeth’s late husband.

Also in the Season 6 premiere of “When Calls the Heart,” Bill (Jack Wagner) and Henry (Martin Cummins) will be going up against each other to become the new owner of the town saloon. The two enter into a bidding war, and Bill needs a little assistance from his cafe business partner, Abigail (Lori Loughlin).

Unfortunately, IBT’s sneak peek clip reveals he might not be able to get the help he’s looking for from her.

Bill comes to see Abigail at the cafe, asking to speak with her about something important, causing her to look a little uneasy about what he’s going to say next.

“I’m interested in selling my share of the cafe,” he tells her.

“So you can buy the saloon,” she responds, knowingly.

He reveals he needs to sell off his stake in the business in order to get the nine grand to purchase the saloon, but all Abigail wants to know is if it’s because he doesn’t like co-owning the cafe with her.

“No, no, Abigail, you’ve been a great partner,” Bill assures her. “It’s just that I want to be a sole owner. No offense.”

When she tells him she can’t buy him out right now, he becomes a little testy and suspicious.

“You can’t or you won’t,” Bill asks.

“What’s that supposed to mean,” Abigail responds, offended.

“Well, you’re friends with Henry,” he explains. “Maybe it’s just that you don’t want to get caught in the middle.”

Done with his accusations and the conversation, Abigail confesses she simply doesn’t have the money to buy his shares but would if she could because she’d like to be a sole owner, too. “No offense,” she says, throwing his phrase back at him, before walking away.

Since it’s already been revealed Chris McNally’s joining “When Calls the Heart” this season as Lucas, the mysterious new saloon owner, Hearties will just have to tune in to see what happens to Henry’s bid and if Bill will blame Abigail for not getting the business.
