Fabrice Muamba Collapses on Ground, Fans and Footballers Tweet Good Health
Fabrice Muamba, the 23-year-old Bolton midfielder, collapsed on the pitch following a suspected heart attack in the first half of the FA Cup tie between Hotspur and Bolton on Saturday night.
Around 36,000 spectators in the stadium and millions of people around the world, who were watching the match on TV, witnessed in horror as he collapsed on the ground and players and medics rushed to resuscitate him.
Muamba, a father of a young son and recently engaged to his girlfriend Shauna, was critically ill' and was in intensive care at the heart attack centre of the London Chest Hospital in Bethnal Green, east London, reported the Daily Mail.
Ever since the incident took place, social networking sites have been flooding with fellow footballers and fans praying and wishing good health and recovery for Muamba.
