Fall TV Premiere Dates 2014: Watch Season Premieres Of 'Castle,' 'NCIS: Los Angeles,' 'iHeartRadio Music Festival' And More On Monday, Sept. 29
Mystery fans will be especially pleased with Monday night’s TV premieres, but there's other good options too. Check out what shows are premiering on Monday, Sept. 29.
“Castle” will premiere at 10 p.m. EDT on ABC. Could Castle (Nathan Fillion) be dead? In last season’s finale, Castle missed his own wedding and his bride Beckett (Stana Katic) was called to the scene of his car accident. Castle’s car was in flames, but he wasn’t inside. The “Castle” Season 7 premiere will pick up right where the finale left off -- with Beckett searching for her fiancé. Obviously, “Castle” won't kill off its protagonist (which the series is named after), but he might be different after Beckett finds him. Rumor has it they might not be rescheduling the wedding immediately.
Set the DVR, because “NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 6 will also premiere at 10 p.m. EDT. The premiere will pick up with Callen (Chris O’Donnell) and Sam (LL Cool J) trapped in an armed submarine. Terrorists have control of the submarine and they’re targeting an aircraft carrier. Hetty (Linda Hunt) isn’t about to let her team members suffer while she goes on a trip to Washington. She ignores her orders and sticks around to help her team rescue Callen and Sam in addition to preventing a terrorist attack.
Music lovers can check out the iHeartRadio Music Festival on the CW at 8 p.m. EDT. The Las Vegas festival filmed live performances from Taylor Swift, Mötley Crüe, Coldplay, Nicki Minaj and Ariana Grande. The CW will air the music extravaganza in two parts on Monday and Tuesday night.
The Hispanic Heritage Awards will also be airing at 10 p.m. EDT on PBS. The 27th annual event will honor quite a few “notable Latinos who have had a positive impact on America and the world in various fields.” This year’s ceremony will honor “Guardians of the Galaxy” star Zoe Saldana and former Yankees player Bernie Williams.
