The superheroes are back! This week, the CW is bringing back its fall TV lineup, and all the DC comic book shows are premiering.

Following last night’s return of “Supergirl,” fans can return to Central City in “The Flash” Season 4 premiere. Barry (Grant Gustin) will still be in the speed force, so it’s up to Iris (Candice Patton), Kid Flash (Keiynan Lonsdale), Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and Vibe (Carlos Valdes) to fight the villains preying on the city. After one baddie makes a big threat, Cisco decides to break Barry out of the speed force, but the experience has changed our hero.

Fans will get a double dose of DC comics TV shows on Tuesday. After “The Flash,” “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” returns for Season 3. The Legends have broken the timeline, so Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) arrives with the Time Bureau to take the heroes off the job. The Legends are happy to reunite, but work follows them wherever they go. Rory (Dominic Purcell) spots Julius Caesar (Simon Merrells) in modern day Aruba. Sara (Caity Lotz), Nate (Nick Zano) and Ray (Brandon Routh) have to steal the Waverider back from the Time Bureau and stop Caesar from messing with the timeline.

Legends of Tomorrow Flash premiere
“DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” Season 3 and “The Flash” Season 4 will premiere Tuesday, Oct. 10 on The CW. The CW

On BET, hip hop anthology series “Tales” will take on Fetty Wap’s hit “Trap Queen.” Lance Gross and Michelle Mitchenor star in this episode, which takes the lyrics to the song and reimagines them as a cinematic story.

Those who want to get into the Halloween spirit should check out Destination America’s “Terror in the Woods.” The series will explore true stories about people’s experiences in the wilderness. However, these aren’t happy campfire stories. These woodsy explorers have some scary tales.

Of course, reality fans have a couple of options too. Chef Alton Brown is back with “Chopped: Alton’s Challenge.” The five-part tournament pits four chefs against each other in the hopes of winning $50,000. Elsewhere, “Ed Stafford: Left for Dead” Season 1 follows a man dropped in a remote location. He has 10 days to get to his designated meeting point to be extracted from the potentially deadly locale.
