Fall TV season is in full swing, and the premieres continue with Fox’s animation lineup, PBS historical dramas and some of America’s favorite reality competition shows. Plus, a couple of new series will premiere on Sunday, Sept. 29.

“The Simpsons” returns for Season 31 along with “Bob’s Burgers” and “Family Guy.” Those veteran shows will be joined by a new animated series, “Bless the Harts.” Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Jillian Bell, Ike Barinholtz and Drew Tarver voice the southern family as they try to make ends meet.

Elsewhere, there are plenty of dramas returning. Nathan Fillion’s procedural “The Rookie” returns for its sophomore season while PBS’ historical hit “Poldark” kicks off Season 5. “NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 11 premieres too, but there is one new drama starting Sunday night. “Godfather of Harlem,” an Epix original, stars Forest Whitaker as Bumpy Johnson, the real-life criminal who returned from prison to find that his streets were now ruled by the Italian mob. So he decided to take on the Genovese crime family.

Reality fans can look forward to a few familiar competition shows. “America’s Funniest Home Videos” kicks off Season 30 while “Shark Tank” returns for Season 11.
