'The Faraway Paladin' Episode 12 Not Airing This Week; New Release Date, Spoilers

Will knows he has put his friends in harm's way and in "The Faraway Paladin" Episode 12, he wishes to face the demon beast alone.

The official website has released the synopsis and spoiler stills of Episode 12, titled "The Faraway Paladin."

Will and his friends seem to walk right into the trap laid out by the demons. After seeing Menel suffering due to his injuries, Will realizes he has put his comrades in danger. When Will decides to face the demon alone, Menel expresses his anger.

The anime remains on a break this week and "The Faraway Paladin" Episode 12 is scheduled to broadcast on Jan. 3.

In the last episode, Will focused on rebuilding the village after he was asked to work as a Paladin.

After earning special permission from the crown prince and the temple, Will set out on a journey with his friends to initiate the process of exterminating the dangerous monsters.

"Having been anointed as a Paladin, Will turns his focus to rebuilding the village and exterminating monsters. One day, one of Will's patrol parties goes missing. When Will, Menel, and ‘the Penetrator’ Reystov return to Beast Woods to search for it, they discover the scattered remains of his comrades. Sensing something is wrong, they proceed deeper into the valley," read the official synopsis of Episode 11, according to Crunchyroll.

The cast of the anime includes Katsuyuki Konishi as Blood, Maki Kawase as Will, Nobuo Tobita as Gus, Aoi Yūki as Gracefeel, Yui Horie as Mary, Ayumu Murase as Menel, Hiroki Takahashi as Stagnate, Eri Suzuki as Robina "Bee" Goodfellow, Atsushi Tamaru as Ethelbald, Koji Yusa as Tonio, Kenji Nomura as Reystov and Minoru Inaba as Bart Bagley.

"The Faraway Paladin" anime is based on the original creation by Kanata Yanagino and Kususaga Rin. The series is directed by Yuu Nobata and the series composition is by Tatsuya Takahashi. The music for the anime is by Ryuuichi Takada and Keigo Hoashi.

"The Faraway Paladin" episodes air on Saturdays. Fans can watch the series online on Crunchyroll. The episodes will stream in Japanese with English subtitles.
