‘Fargo’ Season 3 Finale Spoilers: Gloria Gets Call From IRS In Episode 10 Trailer
Gloria Burgle (Carrie Coon) has a new reason to re-open her case on Emmit Stussy (Ewan McGregor) in Season 3 finale of “Fargo.”
In the trailer for episode 10, Gloria receives an unexpected call from IRS agent Larue Dollard (Hamish Linklater). “Are you working a case involving Emmit Stussy and one V.M. Varga?” asks Larue in the preview clip.
“Don’t move. I’ll be right there,” Gloria vigilantly replies.

At the end of episode 9, Larue found a mysterious envelope at his office, which surprisingly contains a USB flash drive and the accounts payable record of Emmit’s company, Stussy Lots Ltd. While Larue seems to be clueless about the origin of the package, viewers might have an idea who sent the thumb drive and the files to the IRS employee.
Also in this week’s episode, Nikki Swango (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), with the help of Mr. Wrench (Russell Harvard), managed to steal V.M. Varga’s (David Thewlis) bank details and other valuable information proving that he’s laundering money through Emmit’s firm. Nikki used these to blackmail Varga. But when Varga didn’t follow her demands, she threatened to share one of the hard drives she stole with the police.
According to the synopsis for the finale, Gloria “follows the money,” suggesting that the former Eden Valley Police chief might finally find out about the corruption happening within Stussy Lots Ltd. Gloria also finds out from Winnie Lopez (Olivia Sandoval) that Nikki is alive and currently working with a male felon.
Meanwhile, Varga is back to business with Emmit following the latter’s release from police custody. But while Varga remains eager to continue his “partnership” with Emmit, the Parking Lot King of Minnesota is seemingly done playing his games. At some point in the trailer, Emmit is seen looking at Meemo’s (Andy Yu) gun. Is Emmit planning to kill Varga to end this madness?
In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Winstead was asked what fans can expect from the finale, but the actress was pretty tight-lipped about it. “I think, as ever, in ‘Fargo,’ you do not know what to expect in the end,” she said. “And I would hate to give anything away, because that’s what’s so lovely and sweet and special about it, is that, like, you get that experience of going, ‘Oh my God!’”
“Fargo” Season 3 finale, titled “Somebody to Love,” airs on Wednesday, June 21 at 10 p.m. EDT on FX. Watch the trailer for the episode below:
