‘Farming Simulator 17’ New Features Including Trains, Pigs And Sunflowers Teased In Gamescom Trailer [WATCH]
“Farming Simulator 17” is headed to Gamescom 2016 next week, but as early as today, excited fans can view the new features that will be part of the upcoming simulation game from Giants Software. Just two hours ago, the developer’s Communications Manager Martin Rabi took to the official PlayStation blog to announce what fans can expect from the video game when it arrives this October.
According to Rabi, “Farming Simulator 17” will be the largest agricultural simulation video game yet, since it will come with new features, exciting changes and big improvements. And all of these things are presented in the Gamescom Trailer of the game that has already been uploaded on PlayStation’s official YouTube channel.
Speaking of new features, “Farming Simulator 17” now has drivable trains that players can use in transporting numerous cargo of fresh produce and goods. For gamers who will be transporting logs, they can use the tension belts to hold them down. On the other hand, players who want to transport livestock can use the animal trailers.
Gamers will be delighted to know that the livestock of the game has gotten a new addition: pigs. In addition, the plants that farmers can grow now include sunflowers, while new crops, such as the Cage IH 9230, have been added into the mix.
There are new environments to explore and gamers will find the new North American map, Goldcrest Valley, handy. Players can use this map to determine which nearby companies they could tap for professional help in improving their farm.
Back in July, PlayStationLifeStyle reported that “Farming Simulator 17” will have 200 unique vehicles from 70 different brands, including Fendt and Valtra. Today however, Rabi revealed that fans should watch out for 250 vehicles from 75 brands to be part of the official release.
“Farming Simulator 17” is expected to take center stage at Gamescom 2016 that will take place in Köln, Germany next week. As per Gamasutra, attendees can play the preview version of the game on the “Farming Simulator” booth and on the PlayStation booth, while the developers are going to present the game on the Focus Home Interactive booth.
“Farming Simulator 17” is arriving on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on Oct. 25. Watch its official Gamescom Trailer below.
