Father to be Blamed for Paulina Gretzky’s Twitter Account Deletion?
Paulina Gretzky, the 22-year-old daughter of the legendary hockey player Wayne Gretzky, hit the headlines after receiving criticism for her racy pictures posted on Twitter and consequently deleting her account following her father's advice.
The Canadian aspiring actress reportedly tweeted: Having a nice sit down dinner with my dad about social media...haha. Later she announced that she was taking a break from Twitter.
Wayne Gretzky (50) is one of the most famous Canadians of all time. He led the Edmonton Oilers to prodigious Stanley Cup success in the eighties.
The New York Daily News has speculated on the possibility that the involvement of the famous father in making his daughter stop tweeting provocative shots of her body could be a carefully judged play of personal brand management.
The Twitter deletion is linked to rumors that an American group is interested in purchasing the Toronto Maple Leafs ice hockey team. However, Wayne's agents denied the rumors.
Paulina, the blonde beauty, had appeared in Fame and Guns, Girls, and Gambling, but her efforts till now have not brought worldwide success to her.
The pictures that are no longer available on Twitter have gone viral on the Internet. Many of her Twitter fans are annoyed and angry with Wayne for making Paulina delete her account, reports Daily Mail.
The pictures are taken on night-outs with friends, where she is generally dressed skimpily and is wearing low-cut and revealing clothes. In a few pictures, she is seen wearing a bikini or hardly anything more than underwear.
Paulina also has a MySpace account that has simmer suggestive pictures of hers.
