Fifth Harmony’s Lauren Jauregui To Release Her First Solo Single ‘All Night’
Lauren Jauregui will be releasing her first solo single, “All Night,” on Friday.
According to People, Jauregui is the third Fifth Harmony member to launch her solo music career. But unlike Camila Cabello, the 21-year-old singer won’t be leaving the all-girl group that launched her to stardom.
Earlier this week, Jauregui shared a preview of “All Night,” which she recorded with the help of Steve Aoki. Their collaboration was first announced in March during Aoki’s interview with Billboard. However, the famed electro house musician kept the details of their project to himself. “It’s going to be something people won’t expect,” he simply said.
Last month, Fifth Harmony member Dinah Jane also dropped her collaboration with music producer, RedOne, for her song, “Boom Boom.” Normani Kordei also shared last month that she will be releasing a song with Khalid after she signed a solo deal with S10 Entertainment & Media.
But at that time, Kordei clarified that she and the three other members of Fifth Harmony have no plans to leave their group. While speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Kordei said that a lot of people thought 5H is over because Cabello left, and now they are all focused on releasing their solo music.
“And I’m just sitting in my bed laughing because so many things can be misconstrued and misread and just taken out of context. I’m like, no, I’m not leaving my group. I would never. We’re on such a high right now. We’re at our peak. It would be dumb at this point, and it’s not what I want to do with my heart and soul. That wasn’t even a thought,” she said.
Kordei also said that she, Ally Brooke, Jane and Jauregui support each other’s solo careers. “It’s really special to have a group of women that are confident enough in ourselves that we can be confident in the next person… It’s just cool that we can all support each other, not because we’re forced to or we have to, but because we genuinely love each other and we’re happy,” she said.
