“Fifty Shades Darker” released its second TV spot on New Year’s Day.

The 32-second clip opens with Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) and Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) in the middle of a steamy moment. A series of shots from various scenes also shows the two being happily in love and enjoying their relationship. However, things won’t stay peaceful for long because some people from Christian’s life are bound to make a reappearance.

While walking along the streets of Seattle, Anastasia spots a brunette woman watching her closely. She asks Christian if he knows who the woman is, but when he looks back, Leila Williams (Bella Heathcote) is no longer there. Someone will also try to destroy Christian’s red sports car, and it seems Leila may be the one to blame.

Meanwhile, Elena Lincoln, a.k.a. Mrs. Robinson (Kim Basinger), the woman who introduced Christian into the world of BDSM, will confront Anastasia during a masquerade ball. She asks Anastasia if the latter believes someone like her can help save Christian. Mrs. Robinson adds that there have been so many other women who have tried to do the same for Christian in the past but none of them succeeded.

Toward the end of the teaser, Christian arrives at Anastasia’s apartment to see that Leila is also there. The latter has a gun in her hand and is pointing it at Anastasia. However, fans should already know that the lead female character won’t die in the movie as she and Christian will have more experiences to share in “Fifty Shades Freed.”

“Fifty Shades Darker” also stars Eric Johnson as Jack Hyde, Rita Ora as Mia Grey, Hugh Dancy as Dr. John Flynn, Luke Grimes as Elliot Grey, Max Martini as Jason Taylor, Eloise Mumford at Kate Kavanagh, Victor Rasuk as Jose Rodriguez and more.

“Fifty Shades Darker” is slated to hit theaters in the United States on Feb. 10.
