'Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2' In Full Development; Director Wants It Released ASAP

A new report reveals that the much-awaited “Final Fantasy Remake VII Part 2” is now in full development. The first remake entry of Square Enix was generally well-received by fans, with some criticizing some original story changes. A recent interview with the game director revealed a lot of information about the upcoming sequel, including its release window.
“Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 2” Status
The latest information about “Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 2” came from the game director himself Tetsuya Nomura. In a recent interview with the Japanese magazine Famitsu, Nomura said that the game is in full development. Although the issue is not yet available to the public, some folks were able to secure the interview.
Thanks to Japanese blog Ryokutya and Twitter user aitaikimochi who translated the interview, fans now have some details about “Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 2.” Based on the leaked interview, the game director revealed that the target is to release the sequel as soon as possible. During the interview, Nomura noted that they are aware that fans want the next installment; that’s why they would like to deliver is as soon as possible.
The game director also shared that considering the line of quality of the first installment, the team would like to release an even better “Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 2” in terms of quality to provide an even better gaming experience. “We would like to get it out as soon as possible, so please wait for it. I think we can clearly convey the direction when we officially announce the next instalment,” Nomura added.
Other “Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 2” Details
Aside from the game's status, the “Final Fantasy VII remake Part 2” game director also shared some details about Aerith. He shared that characters could see Whispers when they come in contact with Aerith. However, Nomura said that he could not reveal yet when Aerith would start seeing them.
The first installment of “Final Fantasy VII Remake” is now available. The game is exclusively available on PlayStation 4. Its exclusivity with the gaming console ends on April 2021.
