‘Final Fantasy XV’ March Update Trailer Features Chapter 13 Story Enhancements, Episode Gladiolus DLC
“Final Fantasy XV” players are in for a treat this week since Square Enix is scheduled to release the March 2017 Update for the open world action RPG alongside the Episode Gladiolus DLC. To increase the excitement over the new content, the Japanese developer released a new trailer showcasing the things that the update and the new DLC have to offer.
Just this past Sunday, Square Enix uploaded onto the Final Fantasy XV YouTube channel the March Update Trailer for the game. The more than two-minute clip features the enhancements the developers made to the Chapter 13 story. It also gives a sneak peek at the first character-focused DLC called Episode Gladiolus. The trailer opens with the instruction for players to guide Gladiolus through the third major quest of Chapter 13 known as Zegnautus Keep. The trailer also mentions and shows Noctis’s souped-up spells for foes. The clip then proceeds to show how players can tread previously inaccessible grounds and ascend to new heights.
While the March Update or patch 1.07 is for free, players who want to enjoy the “Episode Gladiolus” DLC will have to buy it for $4.99. Only players who purchased the season pass can have the character-focused DLC without having to pay anything. The patch is already live, while the new DLC is coming to players on March 28, Tuesday.
DualShockers reports that the 5.657 GB update is going to improve Chapter 13 by introducing an alternate route for Gladio, modifications to the Arcana spells Alterna, Holy and Death and the inclusion of two tracks from the Episode Gladiolus DLC. Square Enix has yet to give or specify the details of the gameplay enhancements and bug fixes, but they are going to be present at launch.
The official description of Episode Gladiolus reads: “Gadio, one of the three faithful comrades who accompany Noctis on his journey will become a playable character for the very first time in his own episode with a completely different type of gameplay and an all-new story.”
“Final Fantasy XV” is available on the PS4 and Xbox One consoles. Check out more information about its new update and DLC here.
