Inter Milan and Bayern Munich play to a scoreless first half, despite some quality chances by both clubs

Inter mounted an attack in the opening minutes. A pass from Wesley Sneijder into the box was flicked by Andrea Ranocchia who just missed it wide of the right post.

Later, Samuel Eto'o ripped a great left-footed shot but it was blocked by Thomas Kraft.

In the 20th minute, Bayern's Luiz Gustavo ripped a left-foot shot that was just off target.

Bayern's Mario Gomes had a great opportunity in the 28th minute, but shanked it over the crossbar from inside the penalty mark of a pass from Philipp Lahm.

Inter's Javier Zanetti was given a yellow card for a foul on Bastian Schweinsteiger. Bayern's Frank Ribery was given a yellow for a foul on Sneijder.
