First Lady Michelle Obama Wishes Beyoncé A Happy Birthday On Twitter With Bee Emoji
Beyoncé is celebrating her 34th birthday and all her fans and famous friends showed out on social media to wish her well on her big day on Friday. The outpouring of love for the Queen Bee was truly astounding, but there was one "Happy Birthday" message that stood above the rest.
Twitter users were noticeably excitable after prominent Beyoncé fan and First Lady Michelle Obama took to the social media site to send her gal pal a heartfelt message. In the tweet she thanked the Grammy Award-winning artist for being someone young girls can look up to. The sweet message has now been reposted more than 2,800 times.
Other birthday wishes for Mrs. Carter were posted on her website. Family and close friends took the time to share with Beyoncé, and her fans, a song that reminded them of her along with their reasoning for picking it. Jay Z, Tina Knowles, Matthew Knowles, Blue Ivy Carter, and Solange Knowles are just a few of the many famous faces in her family who participated.
Although it's her special day, the "Super Power" singer made sure to gift her fans with a little something. On Thursday, one day before she turned 34, Beyoncé uploaded five new photos to her site. In the last of the batch she debuted a new look, showing off side swept bangs. This is the second time she's had bangs since 2014 when she stepped out sporting baby bangs. Unfortunately, the look lasted only about a week before she was back to her old, beachy look.
