In a First For US Presidents, Obama Returns To Chicago For Early Voting
President Barack will make history on Thursday, when he will return to Chicago and become the first sitting U.S. president to take advantage of early voting.
NBC Chicago reports Obama is scheduled to land at O’Hare International Airport at 3:40 p.m., where he will then be whisked away to one of the city's early voting locations. He is scheduled to depart the city at 6:10 p.m.
Early voting in Illinois began Monday. Thirty-two states, plus the District of Columbia, offer some form of early voting prior to the Nov. 6 election.
NBC reports first lady Michelle Obama already voted by absentee ballot earlier this month.
