‘The Flash’ Season 6 Episode 11 Spoilers: An Old Enemy Returns, Promo Trailer Revealed

After the highly anticipated winter premiere, “The Flash” Season 6 is ready with a Valentine special instalment. Iris West-Allen (Candice Patton) and Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) plan a dinner on a special day, but there is more in store for them.

The promo trailer for “The Flash” Season 6 episode 11 opens with Iris and Barry all dressed up for their Valentine’ Day dinner. However, Barry notices that something’s off with Iris. She can be seen hitting a man with a bottle. Later in the trailer, Barry tells her that she is acting kind of different.

Elsewhere, Iris and Barry’s date night is interrupted by an old enemy – Amunet (Katee Sackoff). And, all is not well between Barry and Iris as she snaps at him towards the end of the promo video. In episode 11, Frost (Danielle Panabaker) is in the holiday spirits and decides to help Allegra (Kayla Compton).

The first half of the sixth season revolved around how Barry handled his impending death in “Crisis on Infinite Earths,” which did not happen because of Earth-90 Flash’s sacrifice. Meanwhile, the second half is about how Iris react to everything after Crisis.

Showrunner Eric Wallace spoke with TV Line about what fans can expect in the second half of this season. He said that everything that happens now is a “fallout from Crisis.”

“We’re on a whole new Earth now, so what does this mean? It’s a brand-new game, and there are new challenges and Team Flash has no idea what they are. They’re going to catch them by surprise,” Wallace said.
