MTV is gearing up to premiere Season Three of their "Jersey Shore" reality show spinoff, “Floribama Shore”. This season they are leaving Panama City Beach for a new Florida destination--St. Petersburg.

“St. Pete is like the capital of fun,” Codi Butts says in a five-minute preview of episode one. “New city, new everything. We found this great house online, right on the water.”

This season will also bring a new dynamic, as a new cast member joins the crew. Mattie Lynn Breaux, 29, who previously starred on CMT’s “Party Down South” and “The Challenge: War of the Worlds,” will be heading to the new destination as well.

Fans who are eager for the premiere of “Floribama Shore” should know a few things about what to expect from the cast members this season. According to the preview,

  • Kortni Gilson has a new boyfriend: “…I’m trying to be the best version of myself that I can be,” she admitted in the five-minute preview about her new relationship.
  • Gus Smyrnios will also be in a relationship, which might be trouble for him considering his past with Nilsa Prowant.
  • Aimee Hall has graduated from anger management school and is dating a felon named Dylan.
  • Season three will be no different for Codi, as he is still trying to get Candace Rice to like him.

Of course, this season will still feature familiar plot points of fighting, partying and everything else found in a boozy reality show. According to Screen Rant, this is because the MTV show is fake and the cast is “obviously fed lines from producers.”

There haven’t been any confirmed details about the scripted manner of the show because it is still on air though. Historically, a cast won’t talk about what was real and what wasn’t until years after a show has ended.

Watch the season premiere of “Floribama Shore” on MTV at 8 p.m. EST.
