Former 'Bachelor' Chris Soules Reveals Details Of Fatal Car Crash, 'I Was Scared'
Chris Soules hasn't had the smoothest path since his time as "The Bachelor."
When he was involved in a car crash that took the life of 66-year-old Kevin Mosher, his world was flipped upside down. Now two years later and with the case closed, Soules is sharing the harrowing details of the 2017 incident.
“The next thing you know, I’m coming to inside my pickup,” he told People of what happened after he rear-ended Mosher's tractor-trailer with his truck. "I heard a voice [of a man who had witnessed the accident] saying, 'Call 911.'"
Following the witness' instructions, the 37-year-old began administering CPR to an unconscious Mosher, per the emergency dispatcher's instructions.
"I was giving chest compressions and continued to do CPR until eventually, I spat out [Mosher’s] blood," he said. "He coughed up blood in my mouth. At that point I thought it didn’t seem to be doing a lot of good. I was scared. And I remember thinking he might not make it."

That's when Chris decided to drive home.
"The trauma of being involved in [the accident] is something I cannot describe," the Iowa farmer shared on mourning the death of Mosher. "I think about it every day. There is not a day that goes by that I don’t wish I could have done more or change the outcome of what happened."
E! News reported that "The Bachelor" alum accepted a suspended two-year prison sentence to serve two years on probation. He also was ordered to pay millions in connection with the fatal crash.
Chris seemed to be relieved that he would finally be able to put all of this behind him, but that doesn't mean he will forget it.
"I’ll live with [what happened] forever," he said. "But I will carry on, and as a result of the tragedy, do something bigger and better with my life."
