Although there is still a month left before the release of “Forza Motorsport 6” on the Xbox One, fans can already prepare their consoles for the upcoming game.

The Xbox Store is already sporting the download size file for the title, and it appears that players will need to reserve at least 45GB of space. DualShockers spotted the new information, stating that this was listed under the Standard Edition of the game in the Xbox Store.

To date, this is reportedly the biggest file download for “Forza Motorsport,” as the last iteration only clocked in at the 35GB mark. Preloading will be made available for “Forza Motorsport 6,” and those who are interested can pre-order the game.

For players who still need a little nudging to get into the game, developer Turn 10 Studios has revealed what Leagues, a new mode, will be all about. Speaking with IGN, “Forza Motorsport 6” creative director Dan Greenawalt said that the newest competitive multiplayer mode will be the best matchmaking tool so players can have what the team dubs as “the perfect race.”

“If you want to race multiplayer, you want to race it right now. You don’t want to wait around for three hours for the right people to come online… so 24-car multiplayer actually makes it more difficult,” Greenawalt told IGN.

According to him, Leagues solved this problem by bringing together players with similar attitudes and skills via scheduled races online. To do this, Turn 10 Studios introduced the Driver Divisions, wherein players will start from the ground going up based on their skills. Filters will depend on temperament, speed and style of racing, so those who want to get rough will be pitted with like-minded racers. This may be the first step for more players to experiment with what they can do as racers in “Forza Motorsport 6.”

Previously, Microsoft has also revealed the achievements for “Forza Motorsport 6.” All in all, there will be a total of 1,000 additional Xbox Live Gamerscore points accompanying the 57 achievements in the game. Interestingly, a number of the achievements will make use of the features in the game, with the usual ones such as replays, to the newer ones like Leagues and Mods.

The developer has promised to dive into more of the features in the coming weeks leading to the launch. “Forza Motorsport 6” will launch on the Xbox One on Sept. 15.
