Boxer Francisco Paco Rodriguez, who passed away after a ferocious fight against Teon Kennedy last Friday, was remembered by the boxing community over the weekend.

In memory of the boxer, the Philly Boxing History website published some of the photos of the fight. The boxer, also known as Kid Azteca, suffered a brain injury in the bout.

The boxer is survived by his wife, his 5-month-old daughter, parents and two brothers. He was 25 years old and had won a national Golden Gloves championship in 2001.
