Fresh Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Renders Enclosed In Transparent Cases Surface
Samsung is on course to release the highly anticipated Galaxy Note 5 phablet. The Galaxy Note 4 successor is expected to hit the store shelves in September. And according to latest news, a new leak shows a slew of Galaxy Note 5 covers and renders.
Very recently, a bunch of leaked protective cases pertaining to the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 made the rounds online. But now, the credible tipster @onleaks has shared a set of transparent cases via Twitter. Notably, the transparent covers/cases contain the alleged Galaxy Note 5 renders, notes Phone Arena.
Moreover, the transparent Galaxy Note 5 cases feature larger holes on the back. Phone Arena says these holes pertain to the rear-facing camera unit, the LED flash and the heart rate monitor. There also are a total of four holes at the tail end of the cases. These holes are reportedly for the S Pen stylus, charging port, speaker and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
Like its predecessor, the Galaxy Note 5 is expected to come with the power button on the right-hand side of the handset. The volume buttons will be on the left side. The smartphone is believed to be 7.9 mm thick, thinner than the Galaxy Note 4 at 8.5 mm. However, the device will be thicker than the recently released flagship Galaxy S6 at 6.8 mm.
The Galaxy Note 5 is said to be larger than the predecessor Note 4 by 0.2-inch. Therefore it will likely feature a 5.9-inch display, packed with a solid Quad HD screen resolution.
IBTimes IN says the Galaxy Note 5 will flaunt a 16 MP rear-facing camera unit, along with support for OIS. A gracious 8 MP secondary snapper will also be part of the phablet. Other rumored features include 16 GB of built-in storage space and a generous 4 GB of RAM unit. Samsung has not confirmed the Galaxy Note 5 release date or specifications so far.
