G Flip is opening up about their relationship with Chrishell Stause.
Days after Stause revealed that she is dating the Australian singer, G Flip, who identifies as non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, detailed their love story with the "Selling Sunset" star, 40, during Friday's episode of the "People Every Day" podcast.
According to the artist, they and Stause were both dating other people when they first met on Halloween last year. The reality star and her ex-boyfriend, Oppenheim Group boss Jason Oppenheim, split in December 2021 after five months of dating.
"And then, we obviously separated from our partners, and we just started talking and stuff," G Flip was quoted as saying by People. "We just found a lot of similarities, even though people would think we are from like different corners of the world. We find ourselves so similar sometimes."
Stause and G Flip showed off their romance in the music video for the singer's track, "Get Me Outta Here," which was released Thursday. The video features the pair making out in a convenience store.
In the recent "Selling Sunset" Season 5 reunion special, Stause said her romance with G Flip "started because I was just going to be in their video," which was about a "chaotic love story."
"It was so much fun, we had such a blast. Not everyone's going to be ready for it, but I think it's great. I think it's amazing, the song is amazing," Stause teased.
G Flip reminisced about filming the music video, telling the podcast that things were "really easy and fun" between them on set.
"[It was] fun and breezy and easy. So it was great to make that clip," they shared. "We watched it so many times before we actually put it out. We went through so many edits of it, but it's cool. It's out in the world now."
G Flip noted that 80% of the people behind the camera for the music video are LGBTQ.
Shortly after revealing her romance with G Flip on the "Selling Sunset" Season 5 reunion special, which debuted on Netflix earlier this month, Stause shared a video on Instagram addressing fans' questions about her new relationship.
"For those that are open to learning (you're awesome), sex is anatomical and gender is how someone identifies. These two things are often confused," she captioned the video. "There are many more qualified people to speak on this, but maybe I can be the bridge to those of you open to understanding."
In the clip, Stause explained that she fell in love with G Flip due to their personality and heart. "For me, I am attracted to masculine energy. And I don't really care what the physical form is," the real estate agent explained.
She also assured fans that they don't need to worry about her because she is happy with her life.
"Right now, I'm enjoying life. I'm really happy. You don't have to be worried about me guys," Stause said.
