Drama ensued between Chrishell Stause and ex-boyfriend Jason Oppenheim after she saw him locking lips with another woman at a party, a report has claimed.
The "Selling Sunset" star got into an argument with the Oppenheim Group founder after he kissed a mystery woman at a Super Bowl LVI bash in Los Angeles Friday night, Page Six reported.
An unnamed witness told the outlet that they heard Oppenheim talking on the phone about trying to get away from Stause at the party. At the time, the real estate broker was inside a portable restroom marked "ladies" at The h.wood Group's "Homecoming Weekend," where Justin Bieber had performed earlier in the night, according to Page Six.
"OK so we have a couple of issues. One, I want to go take you back to the table where Chrishell and Emma [Hernan] and [brother] Brett are," the 44-year-old was quoted by the source as saying during his phone conversation. "But two, I’m not allowed to go back there because Chrishell saw me kissing somebody and f–king flipped, I don't know."
Oppenheim then left the lavatory without flushing or washing his hands and continued the call as he made his way back into the party, the witness claimed.
Meanwhile, Stause was hanging out at a VIP table with "Selling Sunset" co-star Amanza Smith, with insiders saying the former looked visibly angry. "I'm so f–king pissed," Stause allegedly told Smith at one point.
No cameras for their hit Netflix reality show were present during the bash, sources said.
However, Stause didn't stay angry the whole night as she later proceeded to have fun with her friends. The real estate agent danced, hugged her pals and sang along as DJ Marshmello played a rendition of Bon Jovi’s "Livin' On a Prayer," according to the outlet.
Oppenheim and Stause have not publicly commented on the report.
Stause and Oppenheim revealed their romance in July 2021 while on a European vacation with some of their "Selling Sunset" co-stars. They confirmed they were together when Stause posted a series of Instagram photos from their trip, including two photos of herself and Oppenheim.
The two broke up in December 2021 after dating for seven months.
Oppenheim previously said that they parted ways due to their "different wants regarding a family."
"While Chrishell and I are no longer together, we remain best friends and we will always love and support one another," Oppenheim wrote on his Instagram Story. "She was the most amazing girlfriend I've ever had, and it was the happiest and most fulfilling relationship of my life."
Stause confirmed Oppenheim's revelation in a post on Instagram. She wrote that he will remain her best friend and stressed that there was nothing with their relationship "other than our ideas for family ultimately not being aligned."
Meanwhile, an unnamed source told People that the split was not easy on Stause. The reality star was still "upset" because she felt that life had kicked her down a few times in the past years, the insider added.
"She wants marriage and a family, so the fact that the journey hasn't gone as planned has made her feel like life hasn't always been fair to her. It's like a cycle of happiness, curve ball, happiness, curve ball," the source said.
Stause was previously married to Justin Hartley. They split in 2020, and their divorce was finalized a year later. He is now happily married to Sofia Pernas.
