Now that Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy S20 series, details about the Galaxy Note 20 are slowly surfacing online. The first leak about the next generation Samsung phablet appeared on Jan. 2020 and hinted that the device could feature the S pen. Now, a new leak reveals the storage of the upcoming phablet.

Galaxy Note 20 Storage

The latest information about the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 comes from SamMobile. The site claims that Samsung’s next-generation phablet would have a 128 GB internal storage. While it is just half the size of the storage of Galaxy Note 10, 128 GB is slowly becoming the ‘standard’ in the flagship smartphone category.

The report also reveals that the Galaxy Note 20, aside from its standard variant, would also launch a 5G variant, also known as SM-N981. The 5G variant reportedly would feature an internal storage of 256 GB without memory expansion. Whispers online claim that the standard model with 128 GB storage could feature a MicroSD slot that could cater to the amount of memory needed by the user.

Other Galaxy Note 20 Details

The Galaxy Note 20 is anticipated to launch on Aug. 2020, but this is not a confirmed release window yet. Given the current uncertainties in the supply chain caused by the COVID-19 outbreak, initial timelines could be moved. Last month, YouTuber TTTechnologies shared design renders of the Galaxy Note 20, and they are stunning.

The renders are based on the rumors and leaks associated with the Galaxy Note 20. The YouTuber also revealed that the upcoming phablet could feature a waterfall display but not that pronounced. It could also feature a 108 MP primary shooter and an S Pen.

A patent granted to the South Korean tech giant reveals that the upcoming device could feature a display with grip-based sensors for health metrics. The patent mentions the possibility of equipping the display with electrocardiogram and electromyography sensors. If this is accurate, this would be the first time that the industry would see these features on a smartphone.

It is worth noting that while these details are interesting, these are not yet official. In this case, take this information with skepticism.
