'Game Of Thrones' Season 5 Spoilers: Kit Harington Teases New Battle Scenes At 2015 SAG Awards
“Game of Thrones” stars Emilia Clarke, Kit Harington and Natalie Dormer dropped some hints about Season 5 at the 2015 Screen Actors Guild Awards. While on the E! Red Carpet, one of the actors was a bit more forthcoming about next season.
When told “GoT” was hard not to binge-watch, Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) sympathized with E! correspondent Maria Menounos. “You don’t want to wait another week,” Clarke said. “I feel ya.”
However, Clarke kept her lips sealed about “Game of Thrones” Season 5, as well as her role in the new “Terminator” film. Luckily, Kit Harington (Jon Snow) was willing to drop some hints.
“It’s lavish this year,” Harington said. “We hear on set in previous years, ‘Can we afford that?’ and they say, ‘No, no you can’t afford that.’ And this year there was, ‘Can we afford that?’ and they were like, ‘Yeah, you can.’ They’re throwing money at it, and they have to because we’re on Season 5 and coming towards the real peak of the story. There’s some huge action sequences, battle scenes that will leave the audiences wanting more.”
Dormer (Margaery Tyrell) also wouldn’t spill any “Game of Thrones” Season 5 spoilers. However, she did tell viewers what the cast would be doing after the 2015 SAG awards. “When we’re all together, there is a little bit of partying going on,” Dormer said. “Invariably, there is a little bit of partying.”
“Game of Thrones” Season 5 premieres April 12 on HBO.
