Maxie has finally received some good news about her baby, but it looks like her happiness is about to come to an end after she receives a knock on the door. On the Thursday, Jan. 25 episode of “General Hospital” Nathan is ready to risk it all just to bring Faison down, despite what it may cost him.

In the previous episode of the ABC soap, Nathan (Ryan Paevey) and Maxie (Kirsten Storms) found out their baby was healthy, and the two shared a special moment in the hospital before Nathan was called away to work.

The intimate moment seemed a little too special. The two gushed over their baby and their happy little family as if it was the last time they would see each other again.

“GH” spoilers now reveal that Nathan will humble Dante (Dominic Zamprogna).

In the promo for the ABC soap opera, Nathan is seen telling Dante and another officer that the only way he will be able to do something is to find Faison (Anders Hove) and lock him up for good.

While it is unclear what Nathan is referring to, chances are, it involves ensuring Maxie and the baby’s safety. Following the chatter that Faison was coming back to town, Maxie has been given a police escort, since she is carrying Faison’s grandchild and may be a target.

Nathan has been on the hunt to bring Faison to justice for some time, and Dante has been by his side a majority of the ride. If Nathan feels the need to humble Dante, it means his friend could have crossed a line or tried to convince him not to follow through with a plan, possibly one that could take him away from Maxie and the baby.

Elsewhere in the promo, Amy (Risa Dorken) knocks on Maxie’s door, claiming to have news about the baby.

Although spoilers suggest Amy will make a grand gesture, Maxie’s life is expected to get a lot more difficult. Which means Amy may give her one last bit of joy before her world comes crashing down.

“General Hospital” airs weekdays at 3 p.m. EST on ABC.
