The doctors thought delivering Willow's baby early would help treat the young mother's Stage 4 cancer, but on the Thursday, Feb. 9 episode of "General Hospital," Willow may receive a devastating update.

In the ABC promo video, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) insists she can handle whatever the doctor says. "GH" spoilers reveal Austin (Roger Howarth) delivers medical news.

In the previous episode, Austin entered Willow's hospital room following her early delivery but was hesitant about discussing anything until another doctor arrived.

Viewers are aware that the doctors told Willow there was a chance they could harvest stem cells from her baby's umbilical cord and placenta after birth to treat her leukemia.

It appears Willow will manage to convince Austin to tell her whether her cancer nightmare is coming to an end. Will Austin tell Willow that she can be treated with her baby's stem cells, or will Willow be forced to continue the search for a bone marrow donor?

Elsewhere in the promo video for the ABC soap opera, Ava (Maura West) warns that someone else will take the fall for Nikolas' (Adam Huss) crimes. "General Hospital" spoilers say Ava tries to problem-solve.

Ava believes she killed Nikolas after hitting him on the head with a statue and assumes she can cover it up as long as no one is looking for him. However, after Ava visits Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), she will have to figure out a way to stop the plan from falling apart.

It appears Ava will learn Liz plans to turn herself into the police after helping Nikolas hold Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) captive at Wyndemere Castle.

Alerting the cops about the incident will result in a search for Nikolas and could lead to the authorities learning Ava is responsible for his disappearance and possible death. Will Ava convince Elizabeth to stay quiet about helping Nikolas hold Esme captive?

Other "GH" spoilers tease Liesl (Kathleen Gati) takes matters into her own hands, Gregory (Gregory Harrison) considers Alexis' (Nancy Lee Grahn) offer, and Liz updates Finn (Michael Easton).
