It will be a day of utter chaos and revelations as the residents of Port Charles realize some things are beyond their control. On the Monday, August 27 episode of “General Hospital,” Sonny will make a decision about his father, as Griffin confronts Ava about Nelle.

In the promo for the ABC soap opera, Jason (Steve Burton) rushes into Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) house with his gun as the security alarm goes off. Sonny is then seen pointing his gun at Mike (Max Gail) as his father screams. With Jason by her side, Carly (Laura Wright) calls out Sonny’s name in an attempt to get her husband’s attention.

“General Hospital” spoilers reveal Sonny considers his next step. In the previous episode, Mike saw a figure outside of the house and pressed the panic button, believing somebody was trying to break in. However, the alarm was so loud he became overwhelmed and disoriented as everyone rushed in thinking Greystone Manor was in danger.

Although Sonny believed his home would be a great place for Mike to live, it appears he will realize his large bank account and bevy of bodyguards won’t be enough to take care of the elderly man, who needs to be under the supervision of medical professionals.

Will Sonny finally place his father in an Alzheimer’s patient facility or will the mobster remain in denial about Mike’s deteriorating condition?

Elsewhere in the ABC promo video, Griffin (Matt Cohen) accuses Ava (Maura West) of helping Nelle (Chloe Lanier) send Carly to Ferncliff. “GH” spoilers reveal Griffin gains a little insight.

In the previous episode, Griffin ran into Ava, Julian (William deVry) and Leo (Max Matenko) in the park. After the little boy fell, Julian asked Griffin to take a look at his son. While Julian seemed concerned, Ava suggested the little boy was ok and joked Julian was in need of a security blanket.

Leo then asked his aunt if she was referring to the yellow blanket she put in the room Michael (Chad Duell) and Nelle’s baby was supposed to live in. Although Julian attempted to cover up his son’s comment linking Ava to Nelle’s plot that got Carly sent to Ferncliff, Griffin didn’t buy his excuse.

Spoilers reveal Ava feels backed into a corner. Will the scorned woman admit she actually helped Nelle put Carly away for a crime she didn’t commit or will Ava lie to Griffin about her part in Nelle’s evil scheme?

“General Hospital” airs weekdays at 3 p.m. EDT on ABC.
