This will be a rough holiday season for Sam, who seems to be struggling with her feelings towards Jason and Drew. While she has insisted on remaining in her relationship with Drew, Sam can’t ignore the love that she and Jason once shared, and on the Monday, Dec. 18 episode of “General Hospital,” Carly will encourage her to remember that.

After Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) nostalgic conversation with Jason (Steve Burton) at the pier, she met up with Drew (Billy Miller), who proposed to her. Now that she has been presented with the opportunity to divorce Jason and legally marry Drew, Sam has a tough decision to make.

In a promo for the upcoming episode, Sam is seen having an intense conversation with Carly (Laura Wright).

During their chat, Carly shouts that Sam loves Jason. While there is no guarantee that Sam will agree with Carly’s statement, a spoiler in the preview suggests that she may change her decision to stick by Drew’s side.

Later on in the video, Drew is seen telling Oscar (Garren Stitt) that he can’t remember, however, in the next scene, Jason tells Sonny (Maurice Benard) that he believes Drew remembers a lot more than he realizes.

It’s no secret that Carly only wants the best for Jason. She is well aware that he is still madly in love with Sam, and believes the two belong together.

Considering Carly’s history of being one of the most stubborn people in Port Charles, it’s likely that this will not be the last time Sam hears Carly’s opinion regarding her love life.

When Sam last spoke to Jason, she realized that she was wearing the wedding ring that he gave her when they were first married.

Although she tried to give the ring back to Jason, he ignored her attempts and changed the topic to Drew and his hopes that his twin would remember the person who is responsible for his disappearance.

When Jason finally acknowledged the ring, he refused to take it and suggested Sam give it to their son Danny, who can present it to someone he loves when he is older.

After leaving Jason, Sam met up with Drew, who informed her that they are not husband and wife because she is legally married to Jason Morgan, not Drew Cain.

Even if Sam agrees to marry Drew following his proposal, when the truth about his memories is revealed, there is no telling if the couple will make it down the aisle.

“General Hospital” airs weekdays at 3 p.m. EST on ABC.
