‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Will Jason Fail To Protect Sonny From Mike’s Mistakes?

It will be a day of revelations as the residents of Port Charles discover they have lost control of critical situations. On the Monday, Oct. 1 episode of “General Hospital,” Jason learns about Sonny’s case as Mike reaches out to Carly.

In the promo video for the ABC soap opera, Margaux (Elizabeth Hendrickson) tells Jason (Steve Burton) that Sonny (Maurice Benard) pulled the trigger and Mike (Max Gail) helped him clean it up. “General Hospital” spoilers reveal Sonny is rattled.

It appears Margaux is determined to solidify her case that will put Sonny behind bars for life. She is getting uncomfortably close to the truth and Jason doesn’t seem thrilled about the progress she has been making.

While there is no doubt Jason would never betray Sonny, does the new D.A. have too much damning evidence against him?

Jason has done his best to throw the authorities off of Sonny’s connection to the murder but he has not been successful. Even though Jason is confident he can get Sonny out of the country so he won’t have to serve any time in prison, Sonny refused to go on the run.

Jason’s only choice is to somehow find a way to cleary Sonny’s name. Will Jason be able to outsmart Margaux or will Sonny spend his life in prison?

In the ABC promo video, Carly (Laura Wright) asks Mike if this is something he really wants to do. Mike then tells Carly they need to talk about what happens next. “GH” spoilers reveal Mike looks to Carly for help.

Mike has been overwhelmed with guilt ever since he started a gas leak at Charlie’s Pub and caused the bar to go up in flames.

Not only did he put Kristina’s (Lexi Ainsworth) life at risk, but the explosion resulted in the police finding the body of the man Sonny murdered and buried years ago. Although Kristina is ok, Sonny is now at risk of being tied to the body and sent to prison.

Mike has become aware that his Alzheimer’s disease is making him act out and has put his family at risk. Desperate to protect his loved ones, the old man reaches out to his daughter-in-law in order to discuss his move into a medical facility where he can be monitored by professionals and no longer cause trouble for his son.

Sonny has been against putting his father in a home and has tried his best to provide Mike with the help he needs at Greystone Manor. However, Mike now realizes he keeps messing up Sonny’s life and doesn’t want to be responsible for his son’s demise.

While Carly has been open to the idea of Mike living in a home, she knows Sonny is not ready for his father to move out. Will Sonny feel betrayed by Carly for helping Mike do the one thing he has been trying to avoid?

“General Hospital” airs weekdays at 3 p.m. EDT on ABC.
