Sam and Jason had the perfect Christmas with their kids and had high hopes for the new year. However, for the Friday, Jan. 3 episode of “General Hospital,” the couple will be forced to make a difficult decision about their relationship.

In the promo video for the ABC soap opera, Sam (Kelly Monaco) asks Jason (Steve Burton) if there is any way they can fight her parole conditions. “General Hospital” spoilers reveal Diana (Carolyn Hennesy) confirms the worst.

During Christmas, Jason was able to get Sam paroled from Pentonville so she could spend the holiday with her family. Unfortunately, after a visit from her probation officer, it appears their reunion will be cut short.

In the previous episode, Jason asked Sam how the visit with her parole officer went, and she told him that it would be the last time they could see each other again. Although the episode ended before Sam could explain why they had to keep their distance from one another, chances are, one of the conditions of her parole is that she can’t associate with criminals.

In Port Charles, Jason has been arrested on multiple occasions, which means Sam would be violating her parole if they lived together. It appears Diane will confirm the couple’s worst fears, but will they be able to fight for their relationship?

Despite the heartbreak Sam’s parole conditions will cause, “GH” spoilers reveal Jason accepts his fate. Jason would do anything to protect Sam, even if it costs him his happiness. It appears he will agree to move out of their home, but will he give up on their relationship?
