It will be a day of confrontation for the residents of Port Charles as they attempt to thwart those who try to force them to face the truth. On the Friday, Sept. 14 episode of “General Hospital,” Kim will lash out at Drew over Oscar as Carly lectures Sonny.

In the promo for the ABC soap opera, Kim (Tamara Braun) tells Drew (Billy Miller) they need to figure out how to communicate better. “General Hospital” spoilers reveal Kim tears into Drew.

Drew has been struggling with the fact that Oscar (Garren Stitt) only has a short time to live and Kim refuses to tell the teen the truth about his brain tumor. Although Drew believes Oscar should be informed about his terminal illness so he can decide how he wants to live out his final days, Kim insisted their son needs to think he is a regular teenager.

Elsewhere in the ABC promo video, Sam (Kelly Monaco) asks Oscar what happened to his hand. Although Sam and Drew are no longer together, the two have become better at communicating after he informed his ex-wife about his son’s condition.

If Sam learns Oscar was in a fight with Cameron (Will Lipton), she will most likely share the news with his parents. The issue is, Oscar only started fighting other kids after Drew taught him how to defend himself.

Will Kim use Drew’s bad influence over Oscar as a reason to push him out of their son’s life or will the two find a way to peacefully co-parent the dying teen?

Elsewhere in the promo video, Mike (Max Gail) tells Sonny (Maurice) it’s time to rethink things as Carly (Laura Wright) is seen wiping a tear from her eye. “GH” spoilers reveal Carly calls out Sonny.

Sonny has been in denial about his father’s deteriorating condition and Carly has been gently trying to get her husband to face the fact that Mike needs to be in a special facility. Will Carly call out Sonny over avoiding the truth or is there something else bothering her? Perhaps his reaction to Julian’s (William deVry) visit?

In the previous episode, Julian informed Sonny the cops found a body under his bar and he understood why Sonny was so interested in Charlie’s Pub.

After Jason (Steve Burton) offered to help Sonny leave the country if the cops find the evidence tying him to the body, he refused to go on the run. However, spending his life behind bars is not an option Carly would ever let her husband consider.

Will Carly become worked up over Sonny’s plan to tear their family apart?

“General Hospital” airs weekdays at 3 p.m. EDT on ABC.
