It will be a day of repercussions as the residents of Port Charles face the aftermath of their selfish decisions. On the Wednesday, September 12 episode of “General Hospital,” Sonny realizes Mike’s condition is becoming an issue as Julian declares his innocence.

In the promo for the ABC soap opera, Mike (Max Gail) asks Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly(Laura Wright) if he is getting worse. Sonny is then heard telling his father not to say such things. “General Hospital” spoilers reveal Mike is shaken.

In the previous episode, Mike was distraught when he realized Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) was still in Charlie’s Pub after he tampered with the gas line. The old man became even more frantic when the bar exploded and he believed his granddaughter was still inside.

Luckily, Jason (Steve Burton) was able to get himself, Kristina and the wrench Mike used to cause the explosion out of the building before it went up in flames. At the hospital, Mike apologized to Kristina, but once he was in the waiting room with Jason, he couldn’t really remember what he had done. Will this make Sonny finally realize his father needs to be placed in a medical facility?

“GH” spoilers reveal Sonny is confronted. Sonny will eventually be forced to face the truth about his father and it appears the mobster will be hit with a reality check sooner than he expected. Will Sonny’s refusal to accept that Mike Alzheimer’s is getting worse expose his crimes to the police and tear him away from Carly? Or will he be confronted by someone else? Perhaps Julian (William deVry)?

ABC spoilers tease Chase (Josh Swickard) reveals his discovery. In the promo video for the ABC soap opera, Julian tells Chase he was unaware there was a body in his basement.

In the previous episode, Julian lied when the officer asked if Mike showed up to the bar alone. After Chase explained he knew Mike was always supposed to be chaperoned, Julian told the officer Mike arrived with Kristina.

However, Julian knows Mike arrived alone because Kristina came in earlier in the evening, asking for a job at Charlie’s Pub. Julian hired her on the condition that she would start working immediately. By the time Mike arrived, Kristina was already in the middle of working her shift.

Is Julian genuinely trying to protect Mike or does he have ulterior motives when it comes to convincing the police the old man isn’t a suspect?

“General Hospital” airs weekdays at 3 p.m. EDT on ABC.
