It will be a day of inquiries for the residents of Port Charles, as they suspect their loved ones are keeping secrets. On the Tuesday, July 17 episode of “General Hospital,” Nina will begin to crack as her dark secret becomes too much to bear.

In the promo for the ABC soap opera, Nina (Michelle Stafford) asks Maxie (Kirsten Storms) if it is wrong that she wants to control her out-of-control life. There’s no denying that Nina has been acting strange lately. While viewers are aware it’s because she’s hiding the fact that she and Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) are holding Peter hostage at Spoon Island, those around her aren’t sure what’s causing her odd behavior.

However, it looks like Maxie plans to demand some answers from her sister-in-law. “General Hospital” spoilers reveal Maxie senses something is wrong.

Nina knows it’s only a matter of time before someone learns about her and her aunt’s secret, but will Maxie’s questioning make her finally confess the truth?

After learning about his escape from custody, Maxie told Sam (Kelly Monaco) she didn’t want to see Peter get hurt. Even though she was furious he lied to her about his real identity, she admitted he was the friend she needed following Nathan’s (Ryan Paevey) death.

“GH” spoilers reveal Nina makes a promise. Should Nina learns how Maxie really feels, she may become determined to keep Peter alive.

Nina knows Obrecht wants Peter dead, but after a talk with Maxie, she might genuinely sympathize with her hostage. However, the promo teasing what’s to come suggests this situation might end in murder.

Before anyone dies, Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) may figure out what Nina has been hiding from him. ABC spoilers reveal Valentin puts two and two together.

Valentin already suspects something isn’t right about Nina’s story alleging the West Nile Virus has been found on Spoon Island, and it looks like he is starting to connect the dots.

He knows Nina has not been honest with him, but will he figure out the real reason she wants to keep him from going home?
