It will be a day of romance and fury for the residents of Port Charles as they allow their emotions to get the best them. On the Wednesday, Oct. 31 episode of “General Hospital,” Sam and Jason will share a special moment while Ryan and Ava consider their options.

In the promo video for the ABC soap opera, Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Jason (Steve Burton) wish one another a happy Halloween. “General Hospital” spoilers reveal Jason gets a sweet surprise.

After Sam and Jason found a letter from Margaux’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) mother asking Joe Scully to kill her husband, Sonny (Maurice Benard) revealed he wanted to confront the district attorney with the truth by himself.

That means Jason and Sam will finally have some free time, and it looks like they will spend it together. It appears Jason will be surprised by a sweet gesture and chances are Sam will bring Danny (T.K. Weaver) for a visit so the three can celebrate the holiday together as a family. Will the spookiest day of the year bring Sam and Jason closer together?

“Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) sets his sights on Ava (Maura West),” the “GH” synopsis teases. Although viewers are aware Ryan will murder someone this week, there’s a good chance it won’t be Ava. In the ABC promo, Ava declares that someone has messed with the wrong woman.

Spoilers suggest Ava will have a run-in with Kiki (Hayley Erin) and the encounter appears to turn into a heated argument. Ryan has grown to admire Ava’s rage ever since their therapy session, where she expressed her feelings about Griffin (Matt Cohen) sleeping with her daughter.

When Ryan coyly suggested that Ava should kill her daughter, Ava laughed off the statement but seeing Kiki and Griffin grow closer may change her mind about carrying out a murder. Meanwhile, Ryan has his own problems to deal with.

In the previous episode, Mary Pat (Patricia Bethune), who believed she was talking to Kevin, threatened to tell The Invader that the doctor has been keeping his twin locked away at Ferncliff for all these years. Bringing attention to the situation could land Ryan back in Ferncliff.

Ryan has been enjoying his freedom after trapping Kevin in the institution for the criminally insane and has no plans on going back. How far will he go to stop Mary Pat from exposing his secret?

“General Hospital” airs weekdays at 3 p.m. EDT on ABC.
