It will be a day of fear and concern as the residents of Port Charles struggle to process the news of a young life that may be cut short. On the Wednesday, Sept. 26 episode of “General Hospital,” Oscar will reach out to Jason while Drew and Kim panic over their missing son.

In the promo for the ABC soap opera, Chase (Josh Swickard) asks Drew (Billy Miller) and Kim (Tamara Braun) if there is anybody Oscar (Garren Stitt) would try to reach out to. “General Hospital” spoilers reveal Kim and Drew pull an all-nighter.

Kim and Drew will be consumed with fear as they call on Chase to help them find their missing son. After Oscar learned he was dying from cancer, he left the hospital in a hurry, eager to get away from his parents.

While Drew and Kim may assume Josslyn (Eden McCoy) would be the first person Oscar would run too, they’ll be quite surprised about who the teen decides to share his secret with.

In the ABC promo video, Oscar tells Jason (Steve Burton) he needs to tell someone about what is going on. “GH” spoilers reveal Jason offers a shoulder to lean on.

Jason previously noticed that Sam (Kelly Monaco) had been acting weird during one of their conversations and became suspicious when she told him he should be nice to Drew.

It’s no secret that Jason and Drew don’t get along. Chances are Drew will get worked up if he finds out Oscar had a heart-to-heart with Jason after learning about his diagnosis rather than reaching out to his own father.

When Oscar encounters Jason it will be moments after he learned his parents have been hiding the fact that he has cancer. The teen became furious and fled the hospital when Kim revealed she knew about his condition for two years.

“GH” spoilers reveal Oscar looks for a little perspective. When Oscar shares the truth about his brain tumor, Jason will allow the teen to unload his emotions and help his nephew work through his confusion.

Although Jason may see this as an opportunity to show his support for his brother, will his decision to follow Sam’s advice cause an even bigger rift in his relationship with Drew?

“General Hospital” airs weekdays at 3 p.m. EDT on ABC.
