General Motors brings the 'Transformers 3' Bumblebee to life
General Motors has unveiled the new design for the 2012 Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon Special Edition Chevrolet Camaro muscle car. The design will imitate the movie’s version of the autobot, Bumblebee.
The most recent Bumblebee design is available in ‘Rally Yellow’ on the six-cylinder 2LT and the eight-cylinder 2SS Camaro Coupes priced at $3,000.
This special edition includes black rally stripes which expanse from the hood to the high-wing rear spoiler, 20 inch black wheels in summer tires and the logos in the front panels and center. The wheels are also available in 21 inch black painted, in the upgraded ground-effects package.
The interior design of this limited edition coupe is black leather trimmed with yellow stitching on the seats, armrests, panels and consoles. The front headrest and the center lid console are also embellished with the logo.
This Camaro Special Edition will become available for order in July in the United States, Canada, South America, Europe and the Middle East.
The portrayal of the autobot Bumblebee as a Chevrolet Camaro was first seen in the Transformers movie in 2007, then again in the 2009 sequel Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. General Motors has also previously released two automobile designs for both former Transformers’ films.
