"Genshin Impact" 1.4 is still a few days away but miHoYo now accepts sign-ups for those who want to participate in the Update 1.5 beta test. The upcoming content is anticipated to unlock the Inazuma region along with a new set of playable characters, weapons and events.

Update 1.5 Beta Test: How To Sign Up

Players who want to sign up for "Genshin Impact" Update 1.5 beta simply need to fill out the application form on Google Docs or by signing up through the game's announcement section on its official Discord server. Additionally, miHoYo requires testers to give the email address and Discord account linked to their account in the game. Qualified testers are also obligated to sign an NDA, which prohibits them to share any information, including videos and images during the beta testing period of Update 1.5.

Inazuma Content

While some fans hope that "Genshin Impact" Update 1.5 would unlock the much-awaited Japanese-inspired region of Inazuma, others believe otherwise. The majority of the rumors suggest that the beautiful Baal-worshiping nation is coming in Update 1.6. Like the Dragonspine, Inazuma is anticipated to introduce new playable characters.

One of the heavily rumored playable characters that might launch alongside Inazuma is the Princess of the Kamisato House, Ayaka. She was introduced in the game's closed beta and showed wearing a Japanese-inspired piece of clothing. Apparently, Ayaka is a five-star Cryo character and could launch alongside the Anemo Claymore user Sayu, the Hydro Catalyst Mimi and the Anemo sword user Kazuha, according to leaks.

In December, reliable industry insider NEP NEP shared on Twitter several images reportedly showcasing various Inazuma weapons. This includes the usual bows, catalysts, swords, polearms, and claymores sporting designs with resemblances to the Japanese culture. The insider also mentioned that the Inazuma weapons could include the currently unavailable Dendro Vision.

Update 1.5 Release Date

"Genshin Impact" Update 1.5 is rumored to arrive on April 28. This prediction is based on the announcement miHoYo made last year. The Chinese gaming studio said that it will roll out new content in the game every six weeks. Since Update 1.4 is scheduled to arrive on March 17, the release pattern suggests that the next update falls on the last Wednesday of April.
