"Genshin Impact"1.4 goes live on March 17 rolling out new features, characters and activities for players to enjoy. The game is still a few weeks away from its next update, but leaks about its content surfaced online recently. This includes a new housing system, a new bird companion and a couple of new mobs.

New Housing System

The latest "Genshin Impact" 1.5 content details come from multiple industry insiders who have been reliably accurate with their information. On Twitter, AeEntrophy reveals that the next update would feature a new housing system that will enable players to own, decorate and customize their own in-game house. The insider shares an image of the rumored furniture shop, which sells blueprints of furniture that players could craft and use in the said housing system.

Aside from a different kind of currency shown in the image, there are no other clues about this new shop. Rumors about a possible housing system in "Genshin Impact" are not actually new and surprising. In October 2020, fans uncovered in-game dialogue and NPC references suggesting a possible house or furniture crafting feature could arrive soon.

Apparently, the new House System coming in "Genshin Impact 1.5 is called Teapot, according to insider Genshin_Intel. The rumored new system reportedly enables players to allow or disallow friends to visit. If they are allowed to visit a friend's house, players can do so even if they are offline. Visiting the house during co-op sessions is not allowed and would result in other players getting kicked out of the world.

Bird Companion, New Mobs

Industry insider Zeniiet also mentions the new housing system and furniture shop. On Twitter, Zeniiet reveals that the housing shop is a store where "Genshin Impact" players could purchase furniture using a special currency. The insider also claims that the upcoming update would introduce another feature called Bird Companion.

It appears that it is a retainer that teleports players to their house or base. "Genshin Impact" 1.5 would also introduce two new world bosses, according to the leak. This includes a special Geovishap boss called Dahaka and the Abyss Herald electro version.
