'Genshin Impact' Kazuha Banner: Release Date, Characters And More Leaked

"Genshin Impact" 1.6 is one of the highly anticipated updates of the hit gacha game for several reasons. But perhaps the best of those reasons is the fact that the latest update is expected to introduce the new region of Inazuma to the game. Rumors also have it that it would feature the Anemo character Kazuha in one of its upcoming character banners.

Kazuha Banner Release Date

Kazuha is a rumored Inazuma character expected to arrive and become playable in "Genshin Impact" via update 1.6. It is worth noting that miHoyo, the open-world game's developer, releases new updates for Genshin Impact every six weeks, with the latest content rolled out last April 28. Based on miHoYo's release pattern, fans could expect the next update to arrive on June 9.

Four-Star Characters

Earlier, leaks suggested that Kazuha would be introduced in the update's first character banner alongside a new character named Yoimiya. The Chinese gaming studio usually pairs the featured five-star character with four-star characters. Based on this, Yoimiya could perhaps join Rosaria and other four-star characters under the Kazuha banner.

Who is Kazuha

Industry insider Zeniiet had leaked some details about Kazuha. Apparently, his true name is Kiryu Kazuha. He is an Anemo character from Inazuma that reportedly wields a sword. Based on his character information, Kazuha currently lives with the Crux Fleet of Liyue. He is described as a gentle and carefree soul whose heart bears "a great many burdens."

Kazuha Skills and Abilities

Kazuha reportedly provides support for the team by "combining Anemo with other elements and dealing AoE damage by gathering enemies together," revealed Zeniiet. Also, Kazuha could reportedly perform up to five rapid strikes as a normal attack. His charged attack consumes stamina but allows him to hurl a couple of rapid strikes.

Kazuha also has a plunging attack that deals AoE DMG from mid-air, aside from another plunging attack called Ranran Haishi that uses the elemental skill Chihayafuru. For the uninitiated, Chihayafuru is one of Kazuha's Elemental Skills that allows him to create a gush of wind that draws both enemies and objects. The fice-star Anemo character then launches and deals Anemo DMG while in the air.
