George Clooney brought his dapper best to the Venice Film Festival on Wednesday, arriving in a grey jacket and pants.

At a photo call for his upcoming political thriller, The Ides of March, Clooney was joined by co-stars Marisa Tomei, Evan Rachel Wood, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Paul Giamatti and screenwriter Grant Heslov. Missing was fellow co-star Ryan Gosling, who is expected to join later in the festival.

Just like the day before, the 50-year-old Hollywood superstar arrived in style -- via boat -- to the gates of the film festival.

The Ides of March will open the festival, now in its 68th year.
