George Clooney Prepares For Fatherhood, Says Wife Amal Clooney Is Doing Great

George Clooney and wife Amal Clooney are excited to welcome their twins. While the couple waits for their baby’s arrival, the “Money Monster” star is already preparing for his daddy duties.

Clooney, 55, and Amal, 39, are expecting their twins this summer. And although the “Ocean’s Eleven” star will be a first-time dad, he is confident that he will be able to handle fatherly duties when his children are born. “I know swaddling… I know what I’m in for,” Clooney told Extra.

Clooney’s friend, Julianne Moore, said she believes that the soon-to-be dad is ready for fatherhood. “I think it is great. I think he is going to be a natural. I’m not worried about him at all,” said Moore, who stars in “Suburbicon,” a film which Clooney directs.

When Clooney was asked about the condition of his human rights attorney wife, he revealed that she was doing fine. “She is doing really great. She is amazing. I don’t have anything to do. There is nothing I can do to help, but make tea and stuff,” he explained.

Meanwhile, when asked if they have already chosen names for the twins, the “Up In The Air” star told E! News that they have not yet talked about what they are going to name their children. He also revealed the reason behind this is that they are reluctant about naming their children before meeting them.

“Because I’ve had friends pick out names around their parents and then it becomes... whatever name you pick they’re like, ‘Oh, I don’t like that. That guy’s a prime minister… Can’t name her Susan. You remember your Aunt Susan?’” Clooney explained.

Meanwhile, the filmmaker’s mom, Nina Clooney, is also positive that he would be a great dad. She added that George and Amal had revealed the pregnancy news to his parents in person, and the family was overjoyed. “We were with them and they told us together. We were all together, and it was lovely,” Nina told US Weekly. “It was just a personal moment.”
