Gigi Hadid Reunites With Zayn Malik In New York Following Reports They Had Split

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik have reunited one week after calling it quits. The pair, who sparked rumors they split last week, were seen out and about over the weekend, leading to speculation that they had worked through their issues.

According to People magazine, Hadid and Malik were seen walking through New York hand in hand. The 21-year-old model also hinted that she and Malik were back together when she shared a Snapchat photo of custom Nutella jars with their names on them. “Kitchen goals,” she captioned the photo.

A source close to the couple told E! News that Hadid and Malik reunited after talking through their relationship complications. “They spent part of this week together and spoke about some issues they had and decided they want to work it out with each other,” the source said. “Gigi loves Zayn so much and wanted to make things work.”

The source added that it’s not uncommon for the pair to break up and get back together. According to the source, the former One Direction singer and Hadid have been on and off throughout their seven-month romance. “During her birthday they were fighting,” the source said. Another insider added, “They can likely get back together tomorrow. It’s all very unclear what’s going on between them now. They been having some issues lately that involved communication and getting along.”

While they were broken up, it was reported that the Victoria's Secret runway model had confided in her close friend Taylor Swift, who recently split from Calvin Harris. “They can really relate,” a source told E! News at the time.

Malik and Hadid first sparked dating rumors at the end of last year, and they made their red carpet debut as a couple in early May at the 2016 Met Gala.
