Gigi Hadid, Zayn Malik Hinted At Pregnancy In Birthday Post, Fans Claim

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik are reportedly expecting their first child.

Only a few days before the official media announcement last Tuesday (April 28), the 25-year-old supermodel celebrated her birthday with on-again, off-again boyfriend Zayn and her family. According to Us Weekly, eagle-eyed fans spotted that during Hadid’s 25th birthday celebration, she and Malik may have hinted that they were expecting a baby based on her decorations.

Last Friday, Hadid took to Instagram to share a series of photos of her 25th birthday. The blonde stunner can be seen posing with giant silver 25-shaped balloons, and a closer look shows the number two balloon had a blue string and the number five balloon had a pink string. According to fans, these may have been Hadid's subtle way of announcing that she is expecting a bundle of joy.

"Had the sweetest day celebrating my 25th birthday with my quarantine family, who made it so special for me, along with all the love I felt from all over the world! Thank you to everyone for the birthday messages, I carried you with me yesterday!!" Hadid wrote on her post. "I am grateful and lucky that my family and friends -- near and far -- are healthy and safe, and although I missed loved ones I wish I could have celebrated with, know that these times will make us even more grateful for togetherness to be had in the future! I will never forget my 25th bday!”

TMZ broke the news that the supermodel is 20 weeks pregnant, and the baby is estimated to be arriving in early September. It was also reported that the Victoria’s Secret supermodel has been hiding her baby bump over the course of five months, donning more baggy outfits starting February, The Sun reported. Despite hiding her alleged pregnancy, Hadid was still actively participating in numerous runway shows earlier this year.

Now officially a parent-to-be along with her 27-year-old supposed baby daddy, the news of Hadid and Malik have definitely stirred up excitement among the model’s family and fans. A source from Entertainment Tonight also discussed Hadid keeping mum about her pregnancy and how she and Malik took the news that they are expecting.

"Gigi and Zayn are expecting their first child together and the couple is very excited!" ET’s source shared. "Gigi has kept the secret close to her family and friends for a while, as she’s only a few months along. Once Gigi and Zayn got back together at the end of last year, it was like they never skipped a beat and knew what they had was special. The couple and their families are overjoyed."

Hadid and Malik made headlines when the two officially became a couple back in 2015. Their relationship had been spasmodic until the pair called it quits in March 2018. Rumors of them getting back together began surfacing again when Hadid and Malik were spotted together in December 2019. In January, the couple was also sighted walking around New York City hand in hand.
