‘Gilmore Girls’ Cast Snaps Photo With ‘Twilight’ Alum; Is Mackenzie Foy Joining Netflix Revival?
Could another brown haired beauty be making their way to Stars Hollow? That’s the question “Gilmore Girls” fans asked themselves when they saw an image of a “Twilight” star posing with the cast of the Netflix reboot.
Mackenzie Foy, who played Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward’s (Robert Pattinson) daughter Renesmee in the “Twilight” saga, recently struck a pose with TV’s favorite, fast-talking mother/daughter duo. “Soooo this happened!!!” the 15-year-old actress captioned the photo of her sitting alongside Lauren Graham, who portrays Lorelai Gilmore, and Alexis Bledel, who plays Lorelai’s daughter Rory. “#gilmoregirls #fangirling #coffee.”
The three actresses looked like they could be related, each sporting long, shiny chestnut-colored locks. But we have a feeling Lorelai won’t be introducing fans to another daughter when the reboot streams to Netflix on Friday, Nov. 25.
Like Graham and Bledel, Foy is also working on a Netflix production, “The Little Prince.” The upcoming movie, set to stream to Netflix on Friday, Aug. 5, retells Antoine Saint-Exupery’s classic tale of a little girl, played by Foy, who has her structured world shaken up when she befriends her unconventional neighbor.
In one of Foy’s Instagram photos, fans can see the fresh-faced starlet (sporting the same elephant sweater that she wore in her “Gilmore Girls” picture) doing press for the upcoming flick with film’s director Mark Osborne. The image explains her encounter with Graham and Bledel, who are also part of the Netflix family.
“The Little Prince” will stream to Netflix on Friday, Aug. 5, while “Gilmore Girls” will be released on Friday, Nov. 25.
